Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Visual Platform (the app at https://app.vetrimus.org, the website and the module catalog) processes and why.

In short

• Your canvases, files and settings are kept in your browser, on your device. They are not sent to our server.
• There is no sign-up and there are no user accounts. We do not know who you are.
• The server keeps only anonymous counters (how many times the app was opened, a module downloaded) — no addresses, names or device identifiers.

What is kept on your device

The app saves canvases, attached pictures, installed modules and settings in the browser's storage (IndexedDB and localStorage) on your device. Only you can see them. You can delete them by clearing the site's data in the browser or deleting canvases in the app. Backups are yours to make — by exporting an archive.

What the server receives

While the app runs, it asks the server for:

• the list and files of catalog modules;
• the news banner;
• the texts of these documents.

These requests carry nothing from your canvases. The server adds to anonymous daily counters: "app opened", "module downloaded", "module installed". They cannot tell one person from another.

Access log

A technical request log (IP address, time, page address, browser type) is off by default. The administrator may switch it on for a while, for example to look into a failure or an attack. Records are then kept no longer than the period set in the settings and deleted after it.

Cookies

The app sets no cookies for its users. The only cookie is the admin panel's sign-in session, for its administrators only.

Modules

Modules are add-ons to the app. They run in your browser, isolated, and cannot reach the internet. Catalog modules are checked and signed; modules from other sources are installed at your own risk.

Sharing

We do not sell or share data with third parties. The server may be hosted by a provider that keeps it running.

Your rights

As no personal data of users is kept on the server, you can delete or export your data right in the app. Questions about data: ppvikentiy@gmail.com.

Changes

We may change this policy. When the changes are significant, the app will ask you to read the new version.
